The Fuji Xerox CT350875 laser imaging drum is a consumable for some Fuji Xerox printers and multi function units. Using Fuji Xerox’s latest technology organic photoconductors with new generation charge generation layer (CGL) and charge transfer layer (CTL) coating the CT350875 lasts longer and gives clear precise prints. This enables the CT350875 to better tolerate the electrical and heat stresses found in a modern laser printer.
The drum is charged and the light from the imager interacts with the photoconductor on the drum. This allows the toner to attach to these imaged areas. The toner is then rolled onto the passing paper and fuses producing the laser printed image. The drum is then cleaned and the charge is removed by exposure to light leaving the drum ready for charging to continue printing. Fuji Xerox have refined the CT350876 laser imaging drum through the use of nano particle semiconductors in the base layer for higher durability.
