bought in jan-2025 for $24. does the job. recommended. I needed wifi for a new build. wanted to keep the budget tight until i can run a dedicated network cable. win10 identified realtek driver. worked without issue. currently connected to a unify-ap on 2.4g, line speed 50mbs and speed test fast.com of 42mbs. pc positioned at a distance of 15meters behind 2 wallls. not great, but not bad. general internet fine, and gaming latency bearable. you literally have to double your budget (or half your distance) to go faster.
Good, cheap and reliable. Works well to add decent wifi to an old system.
Wanted something would work out of the box with my Linux installation. Works well without need for driver installation. Quality build.
