Used with my M3 MacBook Air it is super, I have creative pebble v3 speakers connected to a USB C port and I have 5 other USB A ports on the monitor. The screen is not quite as good as my old 27 inch iMac but it is pretty good. I like how I can adjust the screen up and down and tilt.
Love my new Dell monitor, I'm using it with a M3 MacBook Air, the 5 USB A ports and USB C port are very useful. I've connected Creative Pebble V3 speakers to the powered USB C port as the monitor has not got it's own Microphone, Webcam or speakers. I use my iPhone 15 as a contiunity camera. I quite like the setup, would be just as good with a Mac Mini but I already had the laptop.
I've had this screen for over a week now and really happy with it. No issues yet. I love that it is adjustable, works great easily plugging into Macbook pro. Plan is to make it easy for the kids to come along and plug their (non mac) laptops in for homework assessments. Husband is jealous of my new screen, but he has an old Dell screen that is still kicking on well.
I was happy with my previous purchase of the same model, so I got the same model again. The display quality is good, but a big caveat is that the calibration will be seriously off when comparing two exact same models against themselves and againts Apple MacBook - but after spending (probably a lot of) time configuring, you can get somewhat matching colour response to a point it does not annoy you. After calibrating a bit, the display is of decent quality. A big disappointment to me was knowing that my MacBook M4 Pro (supports 2 external display monitors) could not be used with a single thunderbolt cable as these monitors can only be connected via DisplayPort (Multi-Stream Transport), so I have to use two cables to connect to two of my monitors (this inconvenience is a big deal for me, could be okay for you). Windows machines do not have to worry about this as they can have a single cable connect two of these monitors. Also, note that you have two choose between either 4k quality (which is what you paid for!) or data bandwidth (drops to USB 2.0 when using 4k). Make sure you will be okay with the compromise and not relying on the monitor being your USB hub.
Great product with unbeatable price. Big thanks to MSY for their service, highly recommend to everyone
Really good quality and sharpness, and brightness also good. Great connectivity.
Received and installed onto a Mac Studio and works well.
I'm really happy with the Dell UltraSharp monitor. I did a lot of research on what was suitable for my photography and so happy with the quality of what I see on the monitor. Also, I'm 70+ years old and managed to set it up on my own.....a feat as I'm not so confident with computers.
I've been wanting one of these for years! Awesome to pair to my MacbookPro as my main screen. Thanks Umart!
