I did my research and this monitor came highly recommended.
Unfortunately when I had a weird issue in the top left corner with lines in colours, I googled it and it's a common problem. Even with the latest firmware update it's still an issue.
3 months in and a few of the backlight led's seem to be dead so I have a dark patch on the monitor also.
I would not recommend risking your luck with this monitor as there are plenty of complaints about the scanlines still happening after 3 replacements.
If samsung fixes it's QA this monitor would be without a doubt the best I've ever owned, but scanlines and now a dark smear up the screen.
3 stars because you're basically gambling on getting a good one.
Pros:Best in it's class. If you don't get a dud and most people do.
Cons:Scanline issue., Quality Assurance is horrible., Support is below average.
