The keyboard includes Cherry MX Brown key switches. These switches have a soft, tactile bump midway down the key press, for a quieter but still intuitive experience. The keyboard also incorporates an oversized volume knob and dedicated media buttons, for increased control over volume, whether you're listening to music or jumping on a Skype call. Das Keyboard 4 also supports full n-key rollover (NKRO) over USB. There's no longer any need to use a PS2 adapter - all you need to do is press shift + mute to turn NKRO on.
