I have installed the 514GB SSD drive two weeks ago, and it is performing excellently.
These are very cheap SSD's but the issue is the lack of currently available cloning software. Silicon Power use a serial number unlocked third party cloning tool called Echo by NTI corp. The NTI website is no longer accessible for downloading the tool. I contacted Silicon Power's support and got no reply from them either. So whilst cheap, be aware you will need to use your own sourced cloning software as the promoted free one is not currently available.
Excellent value for money. Replace spinning disk with one of these.
Arrived on time, looks great in the case, works well, good length to the cables.
As usual, Umart were exceptionally quick to provide the order. As for the A55, it works and works well by supporting the O/S in a 4th gen intel environment. Runs Win 10 so well you'd think this was a much later gen machine. Great value and highly recommended.
Woot, the ultimate upgrade to a PS3! More happiness about faster load times.
Only downside was the failure of their "free cloning tool" that didn't work. Found a work-around using a third party program with a free activation code ;) The SSD itself, though, seems fine.
So far so good. Work as intended, fast and reliable SSD.
