Adjust the depth of cut based on the task, starting shallow and increasing as needed. Use both hands to control and guide the router. Let the tool work at a steady pace, avoiding force. Keep the power cord away from the cutting area. Rout counterclockwise with the trimmer router in handheld mode. Wait for the router bit to stop before setting the tool down.
