Umart Black Friday Giveaway 2024 Terms and Conditions - APC

Introduction
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, "The Promoter" refers to New Eagle International Pty Ltd T/A Umart Online. The "Prize" refers to one $1000 Umart Voucher. One winner will be selected by the Promoter. The "Prize” will be assigned by the Promoter.

Participating in the competition means agreeing to these competition terms and conditions. The competition is being run by "The Promoter”.

Eligibility to Enter
The competition is open to entrants over 18 years of age and located within Australia. Employees, contractors and their immediate families are excluded from the draw.

By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you.

There is a limit of one entry per person, and the competition is open to anyone who meets the eligibility during the promotion period.

The promotion period begins on 27 Novemeber 2024.

The Promoter will not be held liable for any failure to receive entries and takes no responsibility for any lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise invalid entries.

The Prize
The winning prize is one $1000 Umart store voucher.

The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.

The Prize must be used within 120 days from the date of issue.

The Prize can only be used for purchases made via The Promoters website and cannot be applied to taxes, shipping fees, or previous purchases. It cannot be used via any other online marketplaces.

The Prize cannot be combined with any other discounts, promotions, or offers.

The Prize can be used to pay for purchases made at any Umart store, is unique and can only be redeemed once in a single transaction.

Cash or credit will not be given for any unused balance of The Prize and cannot be exchanged (wholly or partly) for cash.

Where goods purchased using The Prize are returned, a Store Credit equal to the value of the Store Credit applied to the original purchase will be issued.

We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.

The Promoter's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

Winner Announcement
The winner will be chosen randomly and notified on 9th December 2024.

The Promoter will make two attempts to contact the winner via email.

If the winner does not respond to the emails informing them of their win within 5 (five) days of the second email, they forfeit their right to the prize, and the Promoter reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.

The winner’s name and social media username may be posted on the social media profiles of The Promoter after the winner has been selected.

Delivery of the Prize
The winner will allow 14 days for the prize to be delivered, otherwise, alternative collection or delivery arrangements can be made through mutual agreement. You may be responsible for covering any reasonable costs related to the delivery to your location.

Data Protection and Publicity
You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by the Promoter for the purposes of administering the competition and for the other purposes as specified in our Privacy Policy.

All entrants may request information on the winning participant by submitting a ticket https://www.umart.com.au/support/form.

If requested by the Promoter, the winner agrees to release their first name and place of employment to any other competition participants

The winner's first name will be announced on the Promoters website and social media channels.

Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter's liability under or in connection with the competition or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the cost price of the Prize in question.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions, the competition or any Prize for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by a participant even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the participant and the promoter and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.

General
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond The Promoter’s reasonable control, the promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice.

By accepting the Prize, the winner agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
